ADDRESS

45323 Park Sierra Drive
Coarsegold, CA 93614-9109

Park Sierra is located just off Highway 41 about halfway between Fresno and the Southern gate to Yosemite National Park.

Directions Northbound 99
From Highway 99, turn northeast onto Highway 41 in Fresno.  Continue 35 miles North up Highway 41 to Road 416.

Directions Southbound 99
From Highway 99, turn east onto Highway 145 in Madera and continue to Highway 41. Turn left and drive 15 miles North into the foothills to Road 416.  For 1st time visitors, Madera city streets can be confusing.  Consider continuing 22 miles further on Highway 99 and exit on Highway 180 to Highway 41.

Approaching North on 41 from Fresno or Madera
After the Yosemite Lakes Park traffic signal, Park Sierra is about three miles further up into the foothills.  Watch for the flashing yellow warning in the second set of passing lanes and move into the left turn lane for Road 416.  Allow all downhill traffic to pass, as Road 416 is a tight left downhill turn.

Approaching South on 41 from Coarsegold or Oakhurst
Road 416 is a sharp right downhill turn about 1.2 miles past the Chukchansi Casino stoplight.  It is not well marked and must be approached with caution.  About a mile after the Chukchansi Casino stoplight, Highway 41 begins a steep descent which sweeps to the left towards Fresno.  Start slowing immediately when you begin descending.  After passing the blinker warning about an exit right in 1000 feet, slow even further.  The exit lane is very short into in a tight right downhill turn.

After turning onto Road 416
You will see our SKP Park Sierra sign on the right.  After reaching the gate, call the office and someone will let you in.  Follow the signs to the office to register.  Outside Office hours, use the small dry camp area outside the gate and call the next morning.  This parking area has no facilities (water, power).

SKP Park of the Sierras (aka Park Sierra) invites all Escapees and Xscapers to come visit.  Spring has become Summer.  Sunny, hot days and moderate nights make for Summer fun and restful  sleeping.  Visit Yosemite National Park and our Sierra foothills and nearby lakes.  Bass Lake and other nearby reservoirs remain nearly full.  Guests of Park Sierra Members are also always welcome.

To all members:

Effective immediately, the Park is open to guests and renters, subject to COVID-19 restrictions.

Only Escapees may rent space in the park.

Members may rent spaces for guests, and may invite guests for day use.  Members will continue to be responsible for their guests.

Whether renters or guests, all visitors must practice isolation for 10 days.  Isolation means no access to the Clubhouse, laundry or public restrooms.  Everyone is to practice social distancing outside of immediate family groups.  Outdoor activity without masks is permissible as long as people are more than 6 feet apart.  Masks are required outdoors when six-foot separation cannot be maintained, and at all times indoors.

The Clubhouse remains closed to all groups as long as Madera County is in the purple category.  When the county category changes, Clubhouse rules will be changed accordingly and the Members will be advised promptly.
