Fine Dining

Fine Dining – For special occasions, there are several interesting up-scale local restaurants to choose from.

Chukchansi Vintage Steakhouse

(Directions) The Vintage Steakhouse features a warm, classic setting replete with rich mahogany booths and chairs and distinctive nostalgic art that welcomes guests to its intimate and relaxing atmosphere. The intimate atmosphere is elegant yet relaxed. The menu includes hand-selected “all natural” USDA certified Black Angus grain fed beef broiled over an open flame. Perfectly cooked pork, lamb, chicken and the freshest seafood are also on the menu.

Erna’s Elderberry House

(Directions) The restaurant, with its European country-estate atmosphere, is divided into three lovely dining areas, each adorned with antique French provincial furnishings, magnificent tapestries and original oil paintings. A stately terrace with a commanding view of the Sierra Nevada Mountains adds to the fabulous ambiance.

Ducey’s On the Lake

(Directions) Ducey’s on the Lake is the Pines Resort’s signature restaurant. It is located downstairs and open daily for breakfast & dinner. It offers a great array of dining options, and its seasonal menu will appeal to all tastes. Johnathan Frabotta, Ducey’s on the Lake Executive Chef, proudly practices their “farm to table” philosophy, using only locally grown and organic produce. All sauces, soups and dressings are made in-house. Whether you are in a mood for seafood or pasta or have a special occasion to celebrate, Ducey’s on the Lake is a perfect place to do so at a dinner time. It offers the upscale ambiance of a Steakhouse with a great selection of red meat (certified Angus Beef sourced from Harris Ranch), salads, seafood and pasta dishes and vegetarian options.

The Blue Heron

(Directions) The Blue Heron Restaurant opened its doors in 2001 at the Clubhouse in Yosemite Lakes Park under the leadership of Chef David Pol. It is an intimate, relaxed, upscale restaurant featuring globally-inspired cuisine sourced ethically from our Valley and beyond. The Blue Heron is committed to maintaining a strong agricultural and economic community. We believe deeply that we must play an active role in the stewardship of our planet. The abundance of small, family farms in the San Joaquin Valley allows us to stay connected to the source of what we eat. Whenever possible, we purchase seasonal, regionally-grown products. If we cannot source a menu item locally, we strive to purchase from farms and ranches committed to sustainable farming practices.

Casa Velasco Mexican Restaurant

(Directions) On Bass Lake’s North shore, Casa Velasco offers delicious tostadas, steaks, seafood and vegetarian meals and Daily Specials. House specialties include Steak A la Chicana and various seafood dishes. Private dining rooms & Cantina are available for special occasions. Patio dining is available. Open for Lunch & Dinner daily.

Idle Hour Winery & Kitchen

(Directions) At Idle Hour, we focus on single-vineyard designated wines: Pinot Noirs from select Monterey County Vineyards, Sierra Foothills Viognier and Syrah and Clarksburg Tempranillo, Petit Verdot, Tannat, Petite Sirah and Cabernet Franc. We are open daily for Lunch and Sunday Brunch with our Mediterranean inspired Kitchen.
