Breakfast/Brunch

Breakfast/Brunch – Start your day the right way at one of our nearby breakfast/brunch restaurants.

Mountain Oaks Cafe

(Directions) Open early every day until supper, Mountain Oaks Cafe in Oakhurst has quickly become a popular place for indoor and patio dining. Portions are large and tasty at a reasonable price. Service is quick and friendly. Reviewers praise the variety and quality of their breakfast, lunch and dinner choices. (Facebook)

Fairway Cafe

(Directions) Open daily, the Fairway Cafe offers breakfast and lunch with many daily specials. Featuring bacon or sausage and egg with potatoes or grits, and toast, it’s “the best deal in the mountains.” Tuesday is the $5 burger day — with fries, of course. And the cafe serves up fish tacos and clam chowder every Friday. Beer and and wine are available at lunch. Takeout meals are also available by calling 658-7468. Hours are 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. seven days a week.

Wild Fig Kitchen

(Directions) Wild Fig Kitchen is a family restaurant dedicated to providing fresh food from the finest available ingredients. Wild Fig Kitchen opened in March 2017 and is located in the Historical Coarsegold Village. Since then, chef and owner Marc Neff has been serving fresh and original interpretations of breakfast and lunch favorites.

Pete’s Place

(Directions) We arrived in Oakhurst on the way to Yosemite at 7:00 on a Sunday morning. What a delightful experience. The ladies taking our order and waiting on us were super friendly. The omelette, pancakes, and coffee were excellent. We were early enough that there was no wait. I would highly recommend Pete’s. (Yelp Review)

Robert’s Frosty

(Directions) On the main drag in Coarsegold, Robert’s Frosty is an old-fashioned diner like your parents went to when they were teenagers. Pics of Marilyn Monroe, the Rat Pack, and Elvis Presley hang on the wall. The TV shows classic movies. And the same person who took your order and payment brings out a tray with your food you wanted. Robert’s Frosty is fun a place to hang out with your friends, take the kids to for a quick meal or sit inside to get out of the blistering heat and let’s eat while we’re at it! (Yelp)
