What’s New at Park Sierra
Solar Power is Coming!
After long study, our Board of Directors has signed a contract with SunWealth, Inc. to build a solar farm at Park Sierra. The required solar panels will follow the natural land contours and be mostly hidden from view. Once completed late this year, the solar farm should ward off increasing power costs for years to come.
It Snowed!
Along with most of the California Sierras, our Park Sierra was briefly covered with snow! At 1800′ elevation, we don’t see snow often and enjoyed its cold beauty while it lasted. Be careful driving!Winter snow and rain in the mountains mean wonderful waterfalls in Yosemite later this Spring. A great time to visit this beautiful National Park.
