Membership Basics

We invite all visiting Escapees to consider making Park of the Sierras their “home”.  Our members are both avid traveling RV’ers and RV’ers whose active travel days are slowing.
 
Membership in Park of the Sierras, one of the premier Co-ops of Escapees, is a process of meeting several requirements.

To become a Park of the Sierras member you need to:

  • Be an Escapees RV Club member.
  •  Be 55 years of age at the time your membership becomes available.
  •  Visit Park Sierra, take a “tour” of the park and discuss membership with our Park Manager.
  • Be willing and able to volunteer some of your time while in the park to help maintain and beautify Park Sierra.
  • Complete the application and make a check payable to Park of Sierra for $1020*.  At this time, the membership cost is $18,298.24 **.
  • Annual maintenance fees for this fiscal year are $2033.42***.  Members pay slightly less while traveling if their site is placed in the rental pool.

* $1,000 is refundable if you withdraw your application.
**  As of 4/1/2022.  Double check with the office to confirm the latest costs voted on by the membership.
*** Maintenance fees are billed quarterly.

Our members volunteer some of their time while in the park to help keep costs down for all members and help keep our co-op park a unique Escapees jewel.
 

All Park Sierra members belong to our Partners In Participation (PIP) committee which encourages all members (new and old) to remember what is expected of all of us.

PARK SIERRA IS OPEN AGAIN - October 20,2020

To all members:
 
Effective immediately, the Park is open to guests and renters, subject to COVID-19 restrictions.
 
Only Escapees may rent space in the park.
 
Members may rent spaces for guests, and may invite guests for day use.  Members will continue to be responsible for their guests.
 
Whether renters or guests, all visitors must practice isolation for 10 days.  Isolation means no access to the Clubhouse, laundry or public restrooms.  Everyone is to practice social distancing outside of immediate family groups.  Outdoor activity without masks is permissible as long as people are more than 6 feet apart.  Masks are required outdoors when six-foot separation cannot be maintained, and at all times indoors.
 
The Clubhouse remains closed to all groups as long as Madera County is in the purple category.  When the county category changes, Clubhouse rules will be changed accordingly and the Members will be advised promptly.
